For attorneys
Eight questions about AI search, from the people it is already affecting
We are publishing a series of round-ups in which practicing attorneys describe, in their own words, what AI answer engines say about their practice area and what clients are telling them. No marketing language, no editing beyond length. Ten minutes to answer.
You control attribution. By name and firm, by firm only, or anonymously by practice area and state. We check any quote with you before it publishes.
Nothing is sold to you. This is research for published content. If you later want the free audit, that is a separate page and a separate choice.
You get the result. Every contributor receives the published round-up, which tends to be the most candid account of AI search in legal that exists for their practice area.
The questions
- 1
Your name, firm, and role.
For attribution, at whatever level you choose below.
- 2
Your primary practice areas and the metropolitan area you draw clients from.
Answers differ by practice area and by city, and we group the round-up that way.
- 3
Have you ever asked ChatGPT or Google's AI for a lawyer in your own practice area and city? What did it say, and was your firm in the answer?
This is the single most useful thing a partner can report. A plain account of what you saw, no interpretation needed.
- 4
Has a prospective client ever told you they found you, or a competitor, through an AI tool? What did they say, as closely as you recall?
Client language is what we build content against. Secondhand is fine.
- 5
What is the one question about AI search you would want answered before spending a dollar on it?
We answer the most common ones in the round-up and in our guides, with the asker credited if they choose.
- 6
What do prospective clients ask you in a first call that you wish your website already answered well?
Those are the questions an answer engine is also being asked.
- 7
May we quote you by name and firm, by firm only, or anonymously by practice area and state?
Your choice governs. We do not publish anything you did not agree to.
- 8
An email address, so we can send you the published round-up and check any quote with you first.
Nothing else is sent to it.
Reply to the email that brought you here with your answers, in any order and at any length. If you arrived some other way, send them tohello@lawmarketing.io.
